This is a tall vase that broke when being glazed. The glaze is smooth but the project is rough around the edges. I used the raku glaze for the first time and this is what it came out with. The crazy colors such as mettalic blue green and purple  work well to give the broken edges and unique shape its own personal look that can not be re-created.

This a wide vase. It is smooth with four lines that I made while footing. It is stained green and blue and glazed clear over the top. The alternating colors show the difference of sizes in the lines. The lines accentuate the shape of the project is it gets narrow towards the base.

This is a vase. This is vase has the golden rectangle proportions. It starts narrow at the base and widens as it grows tall, it is choked at the top with a flared lip. The glaze says I <3 Noelle. This glaze with these words takes it from a normal vase to a project with a literal statement.

This is a vase. It is smooth all around. The bottom half is the example of what we as ceramisist want a vase to look like, but i didnt stop there, I choked and made a neck instead of stopping the project how it was. It is all glazed i  shadow green. The simple glaze accents the complex shape of the project.

This is a set of three consisting of three bowls. The bowl on the left is the example of perfect shape when creating a bowl, the bowl in the middle is the same height as the one on the left but quite a bit wider, and the bowl on the right shares the same shape as the one on the left but this peice of art has a three inch pedistool which was purposely made before the shape was created. The glaze is clear with stain paintings, the glaze is smooth and shiny. The similar shape of each project is what makes these bowls a set, but each unique painting is what makes the differance noticable.

This is a small ugly bowl. I made this project at the beginning of the semester. It is round and has a flared lip. The texture is not very smooth but it is not rough enough to cut your hands. The whole peoject is glazed cobalt blue. This project represents simplicity in glazing and shape.
